Medium tree with leathery green, serrated leaves. For most of the year it produces large greenish-yellow flowers, followed by decorative grey cones.

Ideal for gardens. While mature specimens (50 years) may reach 20m, garden specimens can be kept considerably smaller.

Grow in a sunny position in light or heavy soils. Tolerates short periods of dryness. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth.
